The project covers 18.5km long Light Rail Vehicle System building between Parada Comercio and Parada Sao Luis de Paripe. Twenty trains are expected to be used on the line and they would serve twenty-one stations at a service interval of every 10 minutes.
PUBLICITÉ
A daily estimation of near 93,000 passengers is already foreseen on the line which will runs from a commercial speed of 25km/h to a maximum operating speed fixed at 70km/h.
The contract should feature a 30-year period and may be worth $470M.
Submission proposals have to be provided before June 30. Construction work should start ninety days after the contract signing. Thirty-six months are required to complete the project.
