Hitachi, new expansion in India solar market

A Memorandum of Understand (MOU) has been signed between Hitachi High Technologies Corporation and CleanMax Solar India, Mumbai-based to jointly offer high-end rooftop solar solutions to Japanese companies across India.

According to CleanMax Solar, this MOU is the first step forward a long term partnership structure, and it will enable Japanese corporate in India to adopt green energy practices by providing them solar power in a low-risk, economical and reliable manner.

Under the term of the agreement, Hitachi will include approaching Japanese clients and supply cutting edge technology solar PV panels and also considering low-cost Japanese financing, while CleanMax Solar already setting up over 200 plants totaling over 80 MV, will bring its expertise in developing, building and maintaining solar projects in India.

Hitachi High-Tec underlined that this partnership will add significant value to Japanese companies in India arising out of its deep understanding of their requirements of high quality solar power plants and the partnership envisions also an expansion to other international markets in the future.
