Located in the Southeastern United States, in Burke County (Georgia), the Vogtle Electric Generating plant is a two-unit nuclear station that is being expanded.

Since March when occured Westinghouse Electric’s bankruptcy, Georgia Power has spent near $50M monthly under an interim agreement in order to get work continuing at the site.
The interim assessment agreement is to last until June 3, date where Westinghouse’s EPC contract is to be rejected and the new service agreement to take effect.
The Vogtle nuclear plant expansion is worth $16bn.
