After several year of decline, German manufacturers of building material plants had recorded in 2016, a rise of 8% in sales sector totaling € 4.7 bn. The growth came above all from international business along with a high rise of new orders of nearly 20% that came from international customers. The first country to boost the sales market of building material machines from Germany is the United States, followed by China and Russia.

Anyhow, the experts are confident and optimistic about 2017. The Europe’s construction industry should grow and develop robustly, with an estimation of +2% with Germany and the UK as a major player. Some good opportunities are also expected from the United States and emerging countries such as India and Indonesia.
As believed by IA Cement, global demand for cement will go up 2% this year, and Citi Research reports that after a long spell of barrenness, mining companies are interested in making purchases again throughout the world.
