JCB 407: an improved articulated loader

JCB has improved the performance of its 407 articulated loader with an increased traction speed and tractive force.

The new machine is similar to the larger JCB 409 wheel loader model with its reversing gear on the joystick and a second high speed switch to the right of the control panel. This switch allows acceleration from 20 to 35 km / h. Faster, the machine has a longer wheelbase of 150 mm and a working weight of over 100 kg.

The JCB 407 is a compact, articulated wheel loader with a capacity of 1 m3, with an operational weight of 5,097 kg. Powered by a highly efficient 48 kW Kohler JCB Diesel engine, the JCB 407 features a two-speed hydrostatic transmission for ease of use in material loading and handling applications.
