Houston offers Sky Pool from 500 feet above ground

The Market Square Tower located in Houston, Texas, has a unique swimming pool situated on 42^nd floor, the Sky Pool.

So far, nothing unsual ? But the Sky Pool’s specialty is a swimming pool extending 10 feet beyond the edge of the building and giving illusion of swimming above Houston’s city thanks to the bottom of the pool designed in plexiglass with 8 inch thick. The bottom part hangs over the side of the block of apartments, and it was built at 500 feet above the ground.

Only residents and their guests are allowed to take advantage of this sky pool and various amenities, the rents of apartments from studio to penthouse in the Market Square Tower cost between $ 2,400 and $25,000 a month.
