Manitou and Yanmar launch a partnership in U.S.

Manitou Americas Inc and Yanmar Americas had announced a partnership to offer remanufactured (REMAN) engines under XPRT Genuine Parts brand name, dedicated to fit any Gehl or Mustang branded machines operating in North America.

This partnership allows Yanmar Americas to remanufacture engines in the U.S. meeting the strict standards using XPRT Genuine Parts in less than 15 days (instead of 120 days with new engines), including a one-year OEM factory warranty provided by Gehl and Mustang dealer network.

David Harrison, Director of After Sales of Manitou Americas has stated “Our target is to reduce the total cost of ownership (TCO) for our end-customers and the remanufactured engines help customers to save time and money. The manufactured engines are more cost effective than new engines and offer reduced lead times”.

The remanufactured engines are currently stocked at the Manitou Americas distribution center in Belvidere, IL, and can be purchased through any Gehl or Mustang dealer within North America.
