Manitou announces the acquisition of Terex Equipment Private Limited (TEPL) based in Greater Noida, India.
Created in 2003, TEPL specializes in the design, manufacture and distribution of construction equipment, mainly backhoes and mini-loaders. TEPL achieved a turnover of € 30 million in 2016, mainly in the Indian subcontinent.

With this acquisition, Manitou confirms its ambitions in the handling market in India, and more broadly in Asia and emerging countries. The group will be able to rely on a company already well established in India, with a structured network of dealers and a solid service organization.
