Eiffage awarded for the reconversion of the Grand Hôtel-Dieu in Lyon

Eiffage Immobilier and Generim were distinguished by the infrastructure, spatial planning and real estate (SIATI) summit for the Grand Hôtel-Dieu reconversion project in Lyon, in the "Promoters: best real estate operation" category.

The Gold Trophy of the "Best real estate operation" rewards the project of the Grand Hotel-Dieu, the most important private conversion of a historic monument led in France and carried out by the Eiffage group in association with Generim, the architectural agency AIA Associés, Didier Repellin, Chief Architect of Historic Monuments, Jean-Philippe Nuel Architect and Intercontinental IHG.

The prize rewards the complexity of the project linked to the historical monument, the diversity of assets in the same place, the positive impact of the project on the city of Lyon and the use of the past to build the future. Currently under construction, the Grand Hotel-Dieu welcomes 500 people daily. It will open again in December 2017 for shops and offices, in December 2018 for the Intercontinental Hotel, the convention center and the Cité Internationale de la Gastronomie.
