Sytral: extension of  the contract  Keolis for operating  network of TCL
Following the procedure initiated in October 2014,  Sytral committee has just adopted unanimously the new agreement that should bound the Keolis-Lyon to operate the TCL network over the next coming six years.

The contract, the first ever in France and excluding Paris, with 1.7 million trips per day and a total of over 2 billion euros in operating costs, which relates to the running of the TCL network (excluding common community of East Lyon). If three companies withdrew their candidatures, and despite the amount of the compensation for unsuccessful candidates increased to 1.5 million euros, only the outgoing operator Keolis has been able to response to the European tender.

PUBLICITÉ
The delegate gets a fixed remuneration of 2,2 billions euros paid by Sytral. In return, Keolis is committed to guarantee the level of the income of 1,4 billion euros for six years , an operating deficit revised downwards, particularly to implement an ambitious policy of the reduction fraud rate (0.5% per year instead of 13.5% currently).
