Russian NPP project in Turkey raises interest
As part of Russia’s first nuclear power plant Akkuyu in Turkey , Alexey Likhachev, the head of Rosatom State Nuclear Energy Corporation has announced that various companies from Gulf might show interest in possible participation in this project.

Besides, Istanbul (Turkey) has hosted the 4th International NPPs Summit, over 200 business gatherings and negotiations were held during two days of the Summit work, among others participants, Russia, Japan, Germany, France Czech Republic and China. In addition, more than 100 foreign companies discussed scopes and prospects of involvement in development of the nuclear industry.  This project based on Russian technologies, Akkuyu NPP, caused keen interest from nuclear industry leaders.

PUBLICITÉ
The decision on attracting investors to the project will surely be made jointly with the government of Turkey, emphasizes Alexy Likhachev, but Rosatom is expecting that an investment agreement would be settled by the year of 2018.
