ACCIONA and Geotech : A strong presence in Australia

An agreement between ACCIONA, one of the Spanish business corporations and leader in the development and management of infrastructure and Geotech, the company specialized in construction engineering in Australia, has been settled with a deal of 262 million Australian dollars or 188 million euros.

The agreement aims to build upon Acciona Construction and Geotech’s complementary businesses and to create a platform for growth that can meet the sizeable demand for infrastructure in the Australian market estimated at 125 billion Australian dollars or 90 billion euros, over the next decade.

Acciona Geotech Holding has been created upon this agreement and the new company will integrate Geotech and Acciona’s future pipeline of construction projects in Australia, 82.4% of the new subsidiary will be controlled by Acciona.
