A strategy illustrated by the Pollutec exhibition of the WS2000K Taifun Doppstadt air separator on stand W41TP. In addition to the biomass grinding and screening solutions that will surely continue to make the bulk of the distributor’s sales, the opening of the new sorting technologies presented by Doppstadt will enable it to enter new markets such as the treatment of CSR, DIB and other waste of construction site. Thus the air separator WS2000K Doppstadt (2 m working width), called "déplastiqueuse" by W41TP, lets out up to 4 fractions to a theoretical maximum throughput of 220 m 3 / h. The raw material is supported on a conveyor where a blower generates an upward flow of air that accurately separates the fine particles from the heavy ones while minimizing dust emissions. A magnetic overband and a fine suction system further fine-tune the process to yield between 2 and 4 separate fractions depending on the application. Based on Doppstadt’s collaboration with the Austrian specialist Westeria, this 24.5-tonne machine is driven by a 90 kW Deutz engine (same diesel-hydraulic drive as the SM range). Its robust track-mounted chassis guarantees its mobility on all construction sites.
