Eco Expo Asia 2016: Visitors increase by 8.7%

Eco Expo Asia, the fair for green building, energy efficiency and green transport in China, has just closed its doors. From October 26 to 29 in Hong Kong, it attracted 325 exhibitors from 19 countries and 13,458 visitors. This is an increase of 8.7%.

The 4-day event is organized by Messe Frankfurt in association with the Hong Kong Trade Development Council and the Hong Kong Government Office of the Environment. The 2016 edition, which focused on solutions to climate change, aroused the curiosity of visitors from China, the United States, Taiwan, Korea and Malaysia. Pavilions have also been developed for Canada and Finland.

With the help of Hong Kong and the Chinese government, the show improved its Green Transportation Experience Zone and launched the new Green Transportation Forum to better meet the growing demand for green transportation technologies and solutions. More than 20 conferences were held during these 3 days as well as a large number of seminars focused on the country and the industry.
