UNUSUAL - Case made in the camouflage

The mid-sized excavator Case CS80C will be the highlight of a young visual artist who will make a major presentation during the Art Fair in Turin (Italy) from 4^th to 6^th of November.

Artissima, a contemporary Italian Art Fair to be held in Turin from 4^th to 6^th of November, will host this year nearly 200 galleries from all around the world. Among the exhibitors, a young visual artist Hilario Isola whose talents are expressed through his drawing, painting and sculpture. He has particularly created the staging dedicated to interact with the space, where the staging is shown in its natural and cultural context.

As part of Artissima 2016, Hilario Isola had imagined the staging of the "Landscape with bridge and thoughtful man" changing an urban herb parterre in a suspended environment between the fiction and reality. In this project, the mid-sized excavator Case CX80C plays a major role, it will be placed in the middle of tall grass and almost completely covered with a new kind of vegetation. The excavator will also be covered with the foliage, its boom will comply the most spectacular natural arches.

The work of the artist consists in researching all the possibilities of the camouflage existing in art, is either the Piedmont regional project "Dopo l’Unesco, io agisco!" to safeguard the territory of Langhe-Roero and Monferrato (Piedmont) registered on the Unesco World Heritage. The project is intended to use art to interfere in the landscape and conceal dilapidated buildings, preserving the beauty of the area and creating a new artistic heritage.
