During his visit, the Commissioner Arias Cañete was acquainted with sustainable production process Iveco and discovered the latest models of its range, including the new Stralis NP equipped with the natural gas reducing pollutant emissions and the operating costs. Natural gas is one of various topics discussed with the Commissioner. This fuel offers indeed a highly future prospect of the most promising for use until now, it is the most serious alternative to traditional fuels. Its advantage? It can reduce the carbon emissions until 100% without changing the existing of the distribution network of natural gas , or so far, the vehicles with natural gas currently available on the market.
