Salini Impregilo posts positive results in Q1 2017

Salini Impregilo  posts positive results in Q1 2017
Italy-based, Salini Impregilo specializing in the construction of major infrastructure projects has announced a result of €2.2 billion of new orders received in the first quarter of 2017, 50% of which was contributed by US subsidiaries Lane industries.

The breakdown of this amount involves € 1.5 billion of received new orders , € 0.4 billion of projects signed and finally € 0.3 billion are in the process of being finalized.

PUBLICITÉ
As regards of the performance of the new orders by geographical area, USA has become the group’s biggest single market (50%), followed by Middle East (39%) and Italy (11%).

According to Salini Impregilo, infrastructures market in Europe and Asia continue to show a positive trend, African’s market has now restarted despite the decline in commodity prices, in Latin America, despite the low growth, the efforts to restore market confidence are under way and finally in Australia, considered as one of the most interesting markets as the government is delivering a commitment in infrastructure funding and financing in the next 10 years.
