The project consists of improving the rail system of the Canadian city. The first stage would be the eight-stop system Trillium Line $400M extension that runs from the north to the south through Ottawa’s center.

When completed in 2023, it would add 36km of rail serving 22 stations and lead the whole O-Train system to have 39 stations and span 50km
The two public-private partnership contracts are to include finance, design, construction and maintenance.
The bids deadline is scheduled to June 6 and the project is expected to start in 2018.
