$7.8bn fuel station construction to start in Oman

The Ministry of Housing has agreed few days ago on the building of an integrated station on the Oman-Saudi Highway leading road.

The usufruct agreement has been signed by the Directorate General of Housing in the Dhahirah governorate and the company Ard Al Kunuz Al Ahlia.

The 29,000 square feet integrated fuel station is to be composed of many features such as a hotel, a restaurant, a mosque, a car repair shop, other retail stores and a petrol station.

The fuel station would serve as services and amenities place for vehicles bounding for Saudi Arabia and passing through the Empty Quarter.

The construction project should start in May and could take 390 days to complete.
