McConnel Dowell’s Managing Director - South East Asia, Murray Dundas said: "This development will capitalize on our extensive working relationship with Indonesia, which spans more than 40 years. We are a company who value, understand and adhere to international safety expectations and who deliver outstanding engineering and construction results for our customers. This BP LNG Expansion project for PT Saipem will be no exception."
Located on the southern shores of Bintuni Bay in Indonesia, the existing onshore Tangguh Brownfield site is to be redeveloped.
The BP LNG Tangguh expansion project also includes the installation of sheet piles, tie-rods, waling beams, marine furniture (fenders, bollards and ladders), a floating pontoon and gangways to the passenger terminal.
In 2019 should be the completion.
