The Dubai’s government plans to upgrade a quarter of the city with 3D printed buildings by 2030. It has assigned Cazza Construction Technologies, an American startup, founded by Chris Kelsey and Fernando De Los Rios, to develop adequate machines and methods to manage the first Skyscraper completely built with 3D printers.

Fernando De Los Rios added: “The crane printing system can be easily adopted with existing cranes which means we don’t have to build cranes from scratch. We are adding new features to make it adaptable to high wind speeds along with the use of our layer smoothing system that creates completely flat surfaces. You won’t know its 3D printed.”
The possible Skyscraper look designed by the architect Aleksandar Grusanovic has been published but, for now, there is no official information about the project construction start.
