Porsche Tower: Step into your living-room from your garage in the sky

Drive your car into the garage of the Porsche Tower under the scrutiny of three lasers identifiers. Turn off your engine and your car will be spinned into position so a dolly can lock it from underneath. The dolly then moves the car into a glass-enclosed elevator and uses a transponder on the car to determine to which unit to take it.

Once you arrive at your unit, the doors open and the dolly slides the car out into a fire-resistive glass showroom that is part of the condo’s décor. Each floor has three units accessible by the glass elevator including the 19,403-sf four-story penthouse, which has space for up to 11 cars. The penthouse costs $32.5 million.

Of the 136 units, all but six, including the massive penthouse, have been sold. Twenty-two of them will belong to billionaires.The Porsche Tower cost around $550 million to build and has an estimated sellout of $840 million.

Porsche celebrated the grand opening of the tower in Miami on March 18th.
