Loxam combines revenue of €1.35 billion

After 2 main acquisitions of the spanish Hune Group and the british Lavendon Group, Loxam, European leader in rental equipment has combined a revenue of € 1.35 billion with 7,600 employees.

In 2016, Loxam Group has announced a growth of revenue of more than 10% to more than € 900 million due to these two major acquisitions and thanks to the recovery of the construction sector. Note that Lavendon and Hune account now 40% in the Loxam Group.

United Kingdom and Spain became since two strategic markets for Loxam, despite their divergent economic situations with significant uncertainty due to Brexit for United Kingdom and a slight up of economic of more than 3% of Spain. On the other hand, France for which the sales have moved from 80% to less than 60%, stands out a fairly sustained recovery. In 2017, forecasters expect a growth of more than 3% for the construction sector particularly in non residential and civil engineering.

“With these two acquisitions, Loxam has changed the profile and represents a pro forma revenue of nearly € 1.350 billion which is twice bigger than both the second largest of the European leasing company and the fifth largest in the world. Loxam is now the 3^rd major player in elevation in the world with a fleet of 45,000 units” stated Gérard Deprez, President of Loxam.
