LiuGong's biggest reach stacker in production

LiuGong’s new 45-tonne reach stacker - the CLG2450 - is now in production in Liuzhou (Guangxi, China). It is intended for the loading and unloading of containers in ports and marks an important step in the development of LiuGong handling activities.

As the first LiuGong heavy lifting machine, the CLG2450 has a capacity of 45 t. It is the largest and heaviest reach stacker with hydraulic and electronic control of the manufacturer’s handling range. To meet customer requirements, the machine incorporates many advanced technologies, including SAS technology, negative flow feedback control, constant power variable control, variable temperature cooling control, intelligent touch control, the braking system CAN bus and so on...

For LiuGong the challenge was to create an intuitive, efficient and accurate machine. The digital control system therefore offers a fully digital, multi-language interface and an automatic detection system by default for fast maintenance and repair. The industrial design is signed by the LiuGong teams in the UK and Liuzhou forklift R & D team.
