Basf deploys its know-how and experience in Myanmar

Basf was present in Yangon (Myanmar) since September 2015, and offered its service through the local distributors, the solutions of concrete admixtures, construction systems and mining chemicals.

To continue to strengthen the global strategy, Basf is planning to implement a manufacturing plant in Yangon (Myanmar) in 2017. “As Myanmar’s construction industry grows, including high-rise buildings, roadways and bridges , the requirement for chemical solutions will increase. Basf has a successful track record in building and infrastructure in Myanmar. We can draw our experience around the world to support Myanmar’s development “ said Christian Mombaur, head of Basf Construction Chemicals division’s regional unit in Asia.

Basf provides not only advanced chemicals solutions for construction, repair and renovation of structures, but besides, the cement additives, chemicals solutions for underground construction, waterproofing systems, performance grouts, performance flooring systems, the fixing system, expansion control system, wood protection solutions and concrete repair and protection systems.

Basf’s Construction Chemicals division operates production sites and sales centers in more than 50 countries.
