Vinci Airports wins concession in Brazil

Following an invitation to tender launched by ANAC (Agencia Nacional de Aviação Civil), Vinci Airports won the concession for the Salvador’s Deputado Luis Eduardo Magalhaes airport for a period of 30 years.

Currently operated by the public operator Infraero, Deputado Luis Eduardo Magalhaes airport welcomed 7.5 million passengers in 2016. This is the country’s 9th airport. The concession contract awarded by Vinci Airtports concerns the operation, maintenance and extension and renovation of the existing terminal and the track system.

As a reminder, Vinci Airports has been a concessionaire since October 2015 (for 20 years) of the international airport of Santiago de Chile and since April 9, 2016 and until March 2030, six airports in the Dominican Republic, including that of the capital Santo Domingo .
