The project consists of creating a new road connection between Katwijk (via the A44) and Leiden (on the A4) in order to streamline traffic and stimulate economic growth. Comol5 will be responsible for the reconstruction of the Leiden West motorway junction and the construction of the new 4,4 km long N434 road, including 2.2 km of drilled tunnel. The group will also carry out an enlargement of 12 km of motorway and the necessary adaptations on the A4 and the A44, in order to allow the construction of the Rijnland road.
