Hybrid Airship : No road, No problem
It seems that two-thirds of the world’s land area and more than half of the world’s population do not have direct access to paved roads or runways, this lack of infrastructure presents numerous challenges for developing these areas to accommodate roads or airways.

To combat these challenges and make humanitarian relief much more attainable, Lockheed Martin, a giant in the world of global security and aerospace, had developed a one-of-kind Hybrid Airship, a blimp cargo that offers large capacity with significant reductions in fuel consumption, while remaining faster than land and sea transportation systems.

PUBLICITÉ
Hybrid Airship with unlimited access to isolated locations around the globe, can just simply pick-up truck or haul several pieces of heavy equipment,  by carrying cargo loads and personnel in and out of remote areas daily, not just certain seasons or only after major road, rail or airport infrastructure is developed. With a 10 foot by 10 foot by 60 foot cargo bay, 21 metric ton capacity and 19 passengers to sit comfortably, the Hybrid Airship can cruise at around 60 knots (around 69 miles per hour) and can get as far as 1,500 miles at altitudes up to 10,000 feet.

The company is now ready to begin construction of the first commercial model and completion of the FAA type certification process and  to promote Hybrid Airship to the world, Lockheed Martin has appointed Hybrid Enterprises as an exclusive, authorized, worldwide reseller and related aftermarket value-added services.
