In 2017, Starco will gradually phase out the market activities in Poland and France. "A strategic change like this can obviously cause many questions in the market, both on our future and our financial situation. The fact is that our management is clearer and more aligned than before and that our financial base is stronger than in previous years ," said Richard Todd, CEO of Starco.

This decision will have an impact on the Croatian steel wheel factory where a 20% volume increase is expected in 2017 following investments in new equipment and Lean methodology. "This year we have doubled our paint and e-coat capacity, doubled our wheeled capacity, increased our turnover capacity by 40% and we will now begin to invest in automation projects. But many improvements in our performance come from our manufacturing workshop ideas and a true culture of continuous improvement ," says Mario Biscan, Managing Director of The Croatian factory of Starco.
In Croatia, Starco is an expert in the production of quality steel wheels for trailers and large tractors. The plant is becoming closer to customers, and in the last 6 months it has offered a complete solution with a new automated tire assembly line to serve customers directly from the factory.
