Volvo Penta antifreeze engines

In anticipation of the freezing, the engine manufacturer Volvo Penta has supplied special 5-liter engines to the new manufacturer of agricultural equipment Gener.

Gener has only been operational for one year but has already ordered Volvo Penta for the second time. The order concerns 5 liter engines to supply the FrostGuard V1 frost protection units, which are highly prized in Turkey.

It is a 10.5 m central pillar with 6 m diameter carbon fiber propellers that rotate 360 ° at the top. The rotation of the propellers causes the relatively warm air to rise and pushes it down, thus sending the heat to the frozen ground.

A control box houses the engine, operating system and sensor that can be configured to operate automatically at a specific temperature. Hot air can be redistributed over an area of 60,000 m².

The FrostGuard V1 is powered by the compact, powerful 4-cylinder TAD541VE diesel engine (175 hp), even at low engine speeds. Its injection system offers excellent energy efficiency and reduces costs due to its ease of maintenance.
