Comdec: the spearhead with Dokon H2

Comdec, company specializing in compaction solutions and transport optimization, recently acquired by Kadant launches a new baling press, the Dokon H2, bonding mixed steel wire / polypropylene (PP).

In order to facilitate the recycling by using the plastic bonding for plastic balls, Comdec has fitted on the press polypropylene of PAALGROUP, which was launched on the market more than 12 years, an additional horizontal bonding by 5 steel wire. In a few minutes, the operator can move from a plastic bonding to a steel wire bonding to treat each campaign of the different materials according to their recycling method. Cartons and fibrous, the reprocessing method have a strong preference for steel wire bonding, will be maintained through the historic strapping. Other materials such as plastics ever more numerous, especially through extension of sorting instructions, can be baled with PP bonding.

The Dokon H2 has other useful benefits. To smooth the plant output without increasing the costs, the machine can handle the deposit of materials DIB, selective collection, paper, cardboard and so on but also to the CSR balls when necessary.
