Beyond the 15 certification programs implemented in the Cemex facilities in the United States, the WHC has also certified for the first time, 3 programs in Mexico. Amongst the certified facilities of Cemex in USA, were included the mine of Center Hill and 2 cement plants in Clinchfield and Victorville. In Mexico, this international certification was granted to the cement plants of Atotonilco and Huichapan and the flagship conservation programs El Carmen on the occasion of the celebration of 15 years of scientific research and with the ongoing efforts dedicated to the habitat preservation and restoration of threatened species.
