Pizzorno Environnement decreased to mid-2016

Pizzorno Environnement , specialist in environmental businesses and circular economy with communities and industry, reported in mid-2016 a dropped activity of 2.1% but a net income of 3.8M€ growth nearly 90%.

Revenues amounted to 107.29 M€, dropped nearly 2.1% (109.57 M€ in the first half 2015). Waste Management business has been destabilized by non-renewal voluntary of the international contracts while the activity Treatment was indeed penalized by a negative base effect, the first quarter of 2015 thus benefited from a transfer of additional activity from the UVE under renovations of Toulon. The EBE was 19.29 M€ , increasing 12.3% ( 2.1 M€). Operating profit amounted to 5.03 M€ against 5.31 M€ in the first half of 2015. The net income finally amounted to 3.86 M€ against 2.11 M€ a year earlier.

At June 30 2016, Pizzorno Environnement has a promising backlog of 813 M€ resulting mainly from the Group’s customer loyalty. Many contracts were renewed for an amount of 106 M€ including contract for the reception , sort and condition of waste from the collection of the Syndicat Mixte of Sustainable Development of East-Var (SMIDDEV). The second half will take a benefit from the recent commercial successes such as contract of the cleaning paths and public spaces of Antibes Juan-les-Pins, and roads cleaning contract, green space and emptying of bin in Seyssinet-Pariset , in the area of Grenoble.
