Atlas Copco’s order demand on the rise

The leading provider of sustainable productivity solutions has unveiled on April 26, its income for the first quarter of 2017 with strong order increase in all business areas.

Atlas Copco boasts a growth of 18% in orders reaching thus MSEK 37,710 for the first quarter of the year, which stands as the biggest jump since the second quarter 2011.

Atlas Copco’s CEO, Ronnie Leten declared: “We see a positive trend in all sectors of our business. This trend is supported by an improved business climate as well as our innovative products and services that boost productivity for our customers.”

Performance-enhancing oil-injected screw compressors, highly efficient vacuum pumps for laboratories and research facilities, a mechatronic wrench for assembly applications offering error proofing and more energy-efficient electric dewatering pumps are among the innovative products launched since the beginning of 2017.

This year, Atlas Copco has also launched Vacuum Technique as a separate business area.
