Metso, innovation through collaboration

The close collaboration between Metso and Hewitt Equipment, an exclusive distributor of Metso crushing and screening equipment in Quebec and Western Labrador, has led to the delivery of the new Metso NP20 series impact crushers dedicated to Demix’s new plant in Laval.

Demix Agrégats, a division of CRH Canada Group, is aggregates producer in the greater Montreal area, has also ordered, in addition to the delivery of two NP20 crushers, various Metso equipment for a project currently underway in Laval. The order involves a C150 jaw crusher with an MB432 hydraulic hammer, a CVB202 for primary crushing and screening, two TS5.3 screens and a sand washing screw and several Metso feeders.

According to Metso and Hewitt Equipment, the development of the new NP20 has been for all, the real win-win-win project, as Demix was already impressed by the maintenance-friendliness of the NP15 model in the past, but needed higher capacity. With this project achieved, all three companies have reached their target.
