The near $40.92M Osterbo power plant project is to feature a 7.1km long tunnel in the mountain, the drilling of shafts, the blasting and concrete work in the station.

The site where will be located the plant has a natural water reservoir with high storage capacity. Several workplaces would only be reached by helicopter.
When completed in 2020, the hydroelectric plant is to generate 165GWh annual output which represents the consumption of approximatively 8,000 households.
The construction is to start in May 2017.
