Located 15 km away from Burkina Faso’s capital city, Ouagadougou, the future green city is to be named Yennenga in reference to the princess who funded the Moogo Kingdom.

The city is to feature hotels, retail area, boulevards and administrative buildings among others.
Are part of the project the Burkinabe Arcade Architecture, the French architectural agency Coldefy & Associates and French offices A.S Architecture-Studio, Beckmann N’Thepé Architectes and Hardel + Le Bihan. These companies have won an international competition last March to manage the project with CGE as contracting authority.
Yennenga City is to host 80,000 people.
