Aichi climbs in North America

Aichi, a subsidiary of Toyota Industries since 2003, has announced the launching of slab scissors’ range for North America. This line will be distributed by Toyota Material Handling USA Inc. (TMHU).

As part of this launch, the new range comprises the five new scissor lifts with working heights of 19 feet to 32 feet and with the widths of the working platform from 30 to 46 inch. The new scissor lifts feature AC drive motor systems, 220 amp hour batteries, three stage scissor links and a full range of equipment options.

With the introduction of Toyota’s new line of Aichi scissor lifts, the company emphasizes their commitment to being a full-line equipment supplier and solutions partner to customers in North America. Aichi had originally introduced global boom and scissor products in 2008, as for TMHU had debuted Aichi booms for the North America market in 2010.
