In Slovakia, the D1 motorway located near Presov is to be upgraded. Vinci’s subsidiary Eurovia is designated to build an 8km new section, a 2.2km tunnel, eighteen bridges and 6km of noise barriers. The Slovak construction companies Doprastav and Metrostav are also part of the consortium.

The construction is to start in the summer of 2017 for a completion in 2021.
