Leica Geosystems bring added value for Liebherr LIPOS®

The leader in measurement technology, Leica Geosystems announced that Liebherr, one the world’s largest manufacturers of construction machinery, had chosen the Leica iCON rig solution to be directly implemented into LIPOS factory-mounted add-on-kit.

The Leica iCON rig solution is integrated in LIPOS thanks to a fixture for the easy and quick installation of hardware without the need to change de machine structure, and by combining Liebherr on-board sensor information this process adds a significant extra dimension to Leica iCon solution for drilling and piling applications.

The Leica iCON rig solution integrated into the Liebherr control system creates ideal conditions for efficient positioning of Liebherr machines and their working tools. The LIPOS data interface combines Liebherr machine-based sensor data with state-of-the-art Leica Geosystems navigation technology guided by satellites.
