Riwal keeps growing in Germany with AFI acquisition

Riwal, one of the global leaders in powered access rental, has announced an acquisition of German rental company AFI GmbH.

With its 110 employees and a current fleet of 1300 machines from 9 depots across Germany, AFI GmbH is a rental company specialist of aerial work platforms, telehandlers and forklifts founded in 2003 by Günther Aust.

As part of the strategy to grow the market shares, this acquisition will allow Riwal the Netherlands-based, to strengthen its position in Germany, one of the largest access equipment rental markets in Europe.

Riwal and AFI GmbH have a common and strong customer focus and the merge of both companies is in line with their strategy to further growth in the German market.
