Palfinger showcases a world premiere in Amsterdam

At Apex, the International Access Platform Exhibition which will be held from 2 to 4 May 2017 in Amsterdam, Palfinger one of the world’s leading manufacturers of innovative lifting solutions, will offer a world premiere – the presentation of P 1000.

The P 1000, the largest all-terrain access platform in the world designed to facilitate assembly and service work on wind-power plants, features a lateral reach of 35 meters, a working height of up to 102.5 meters, equipped with a basket load of 200 kg (with a maximal nominal load in the basket of up to 600 kg). In addition, as the functions of the Jumbo NX Class can now be found in the Top Class, the P 1000 ensures new safety and assistance functions as well. The P 1000 is assembled on a five-axis all-terrain Faun Chassis and is so the number one choice for difficult-to-reach terrain.

Among others innovations, six further models will be also on display. From the compact Smart Class to the Top Class, the product range covers all application areas with a working height of up to 102.5 meters.

To emphasize its pioneering role on the access platform market, Palfinger offers to all visitors a special experience for the first time ever: a trip with a prototype in a virtual reality simulation. The company is also innovating with two advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) that provide increased operator-friendliness.
