With the objective to extend the airport capacity to 25 million travelers a day by 2027, Parsons Overseas Limited has been named to handle the design, project and construction managements of the United Arab Emirates’ Sharjah airport.

Parsons Group president Gary Adams said: “The Sharjah International Airport expansion program will dramatically improve travel options to and from Sharjah, as well as to promote economic growth and job creation.”
The Sharjah International airport authority projects $408 M for the expansion including the development of routes from and to the airport.
