BAM Ireland to develop Bolands Quay in Dublin
The Boland’s Quay Development Group (BQDG) has chosen BAM Ireland, the subsidiary of the Royal BAM Group, to care for the South Docklands’ construction site.

The architects Burke, Kennedy and Doyle have designed the Bolands Quay project which includes the construction of three landmarks buildings. The creation of a 397.000 square feet office is also part of it. It will enable to accommodate up to 2500 workers when completed in 2018.
To also undertake residential and cultural spaces, the demolishing of the existent silos is necessary. Concerning the actual mill buildings, they must be renovated.  

PUBLICITÉ
BAM Ireland has agreed to build a new civic plaza that overlooks the Grand Canal Dock waterfront. A pedestrian bridge will allow passerby to join Ringsend Road from the plaza.

BAM Ireland CEO Theo Cullinane said: “We are very pleased to have completed this agreement, which will develop this quarter of the thriving Dublin Docklands into an exceptional commercial and residential space. Ireland needs world-class office buildings to attract international investment and BAM is uniquely positioned in terms of experience and expertise to deliver the landmark projects the country needs to compete on the world stage.”

Five hundrer jobs are to be created with this development project that may cost €170 million funded by the National Asset Management Agency (NAMA).
