Dubai’s future Mall about to beat records

Part of a massive urban development plan, the Meydan One Mall project is to be composed of the world’s largest water fountain among others exuberances.

The groundbreaking of the Mall has been launched, last Wednesday, by the Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE.

Under a retractable skylight, the mall consists of a 131.150 square-feet hypermarket and luxury stores, along the 1.315 feet long ‘Central Canyon’, with prime time opening.

Besides, a 1 km long ski slope and the world’s largest dancing water fountain, with 380m height, promise to give the infrastructure its exceptional characteristics.

Salini Impregilo, the Italian-based company, has been designated to build the $435million shopping center to be delivered in 2020.

The Mall constitutes the first step of Dubai’s urban development project that provides for having one of the tallest residential buildings of the world between Meydan district and Al Khail Road. It also features a 258.300 square-feet indoor sports complex with many fields and courts to play from cricket to football.
