NuGen, a Toshiba-led venture with French utility Engie, which was set up to build three AP1000 nuclear reactor units at the Moorside site on the coast of Cumbria is now vulnerable as it seems unlikely that Toshiba will be able to help shoulder the $15 billion to $20 billion investment.
