Vinci Construction takes up 3D printing

Vinci Construction has just signed a partnership contract with XtreeE, a French start-up specializing in 3D concrete printing, and takes shares in the company’s capital.

This acquisition will accelerate the development of XtreeE and strengthen collaboration with the Vinci Construction teams. It also aims to explore and develop the opportunities offered by new 3D printing technologies in construction.

"3D printing offers revolutionary opportunities in the construction world and Vinci Construction wants to be among the leaders of this movement. After the recent creation of a joint venture with SunPartner to develop the solar technologies of the future, with XtreeE is a new illustration of the dynamism of the construction sector in terms of innovation," said Jérôme Stubler, President of Vinci Construction.
