Bauma China: new Comansa CM luffing-jib crane

Bauma China, which has just closed its doors in Shanghai, China, was the venue for the launch of Comansa CM’s first range of luffing-jib tower cranes, representing the new CML 190.

The CML 190 crane is available in two versions, 12 and 18 t, with a maximum reach of 60 m and different jib configurations every 5 m. This model, as well as the others to come from the CML series, were designed with the Linden Comansa modular system. Therefore, each component of the crane is lightweight and compact for easy transportation and fast erection. In addition, the hoisting and luffing cables are pre-installed in the factory for easier installation.

Both versions of the CML 190 will be available in Asia, the Middle East and Oceania beginning in 2017. Comansa CM also targets markets such as Thailand, South Korea or Malaysia where many high-rise construction projects and the demand for luffing-jib cranes is rising sharply. The crane on Bauma China was sold to the Thai dealership Smart Ltd.

In parallel with the new CML 190, Comansa CM exhibited the new 8m folding cross base and the CM1600 series of flat-top tower cranes. These new models are available since last September and have a maximum load capacity of 10 or 12 t.

A few details about Linden Comansa’s new LCL700 have been delivered. This new crane will be available in 2 versions of capacity of 50 and 64 t. It will be launched on March 2017.
