Genie takes the bottle
The wine bottler Greencroft Bottling, located in County Durham (UK) and its affiliate Lanchester Wines company  have adopted the Genie Z-33/18 boom lift allowing them to deal with indoor and outdoor  the general maintenance and refurbishment duties  for both of their sites.

Greencroft Bottling and Lanchester Wines share a number of important sites and warehouses in the North East of England. The two companies turned to authorized Genie aerial equipment distributor Workplatform Ltd. to purchase an electric Genie ZTM -33/18 articulating boom. “Given the wide range of jobs that we undertake, it became evident that owning the right machine could work out to be a far more efficient and cost-effective solution” says Richard Lewin, Assistant Logistics Manager for Lanchester Wines in charge of maintenance of equipment on behalf of Greencroft Bottling.

Capable of ensuring the indoor and outdoor refurbishment of facilities of both companies, quietly and softly , the Genie Z-33/18 boom  is a simple and robust electric unit powered by the robust three-phase asynchronous motor  for an increasing outdoor motor. The battery power  provides the ability to perform a full day’s work on a single battery charge. In addition to its reduced weight (3.640kg) , the versatile boom lift notably boasts a total occupied floor pressure of only 991 kg/sq . The machine is equipped with a low tyre contact pressure of 483 kPa making this unit an ideal solution for applications on fragile indoor surfaces where reduced floor load is essential, even on wet grass or freshly stabilized ground.

Greencroft Bottling has chosen to equip its Genie Z-33/18 boom with optional multi-surface non-marking  tyres , suitable for fragile floor and sensitive outdoor surfaces. Thus equipped, it can perform many tasks, including performing routine tanks inspections to maintain the Greencroft Bottling’s  AAPlus BRC rating and an exceptional levels of quality  "With an inside turning radius of just 1.9 meters and narrow width of just  1.5 meters, the  Genie Z-33/18 boom  has proved  to be extremely efficient. In addition to lateral manoeuvres well up and down in narrow  standard 2 m gangways, easily reaching up and over the top of silo tanks holding substantial quantities of wine” says Richard Lewin.
