Samoter 2017 opens its door

The Samoter earthmoving show opened its doors in Verona (Italy) at the same time as the Asphaltica (road construction) and Transpotec Logitec (transport and logistics) fairs. 780 exhibitors from 30 countries were registered.

The exhibitors are installed on 84,000 m² of exhibition space and distributed in 10 halls and 6 outdoor spaces. 210 buyers are expected and 130 conferences and workshops will be offered during these 3 days. The inauguration will take place at 11 am in the Forum area of Hall 7 in the presence of the Under-Secretaries of State at the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport Umberto del Basso De Caro and the Ministry of Justice Cosimo Maria Ferri.

This 30th edition of Samoter will focus on the contribution of machines to prevent hydrogeological instability (landslides). Machines that are increasingly intelligent and mostly hybrid in order to guarantee a low level of emissions and a higher energy efficiency.
